We are thrilled to share this recent recognition and can’t wait to see her future achievements at cb{d}. • What does your role involve?

As the Digital Marketing Director at cb{d}, I manage 18 company accounts for multiple industries monthly. My role includes onboarding new clients and creating cohesive digital marketing strategies using Google Ads, SEO content marketing, and organic social media and ad campaigns. I work closely with our digital marketing team to achieve our clients’ goals, whether in recruitment campaigns or lead generation for professional service companies. I also collaborate with subcontractors for professional photography and videography shoots.

  • How did you get involved in marketing?

I became involved in marketing thanks to a suggestion from my college roommate, who recognized my interest in social media. Intrigued by the power of social media in reaching and engaging with people, I decided to delve deeper into the field. This led me to pursue an Integrated Marketing and Communications degree at the Elliott School of Communication (Wichita State University).

  • Do you have any mentors in the industry?

I’ve collected mentors along my career path. From my first friend in Kansas, Zach Brown, to my boss and friend, Cassandra Bryan, to the AMA Wichita Board members, I cherish what others offer in experience and friendship, which has helped me grow.

  • What’s a recent challenge you’ve encountered in your field?

As a marketing professional, part of my role is to guide clients toward the best path that aligns with their goals and objectives. While clients may have their ideas or suggestions, I am responsible for providing informed insights and expertise to ensure their marketing strategies are practical and yield the desired results.

  • Why will this be your profession long-term?

The industry’s dynamic nature keeps me engaged and motivated, and I enjoy continuously learning and adapting to new trends. I am fortunate enough to be involved in the local marketing community as the current President of the American Marketing Association Wichita chapter and one of fifteen marketers on the Marketing Advisory Board for the Barton School of Business at Wichita State University.
