August 2, 2023

Google has phased out the previous version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) for Google Analytics 4.

Please note:

  • The dashboard widget in the admin area of your website will no longer track this data.
  • When you log in to Google Analytics, you will see a red bar at the top stating that the setup is not complete. You can ignore this warning. To complete the setup, there are steps that are not required for each account, such as setting connecting advertising accounts.

How to Access Your Reports Online Directly from Google

  • Step 1: Login to Google Analytics

You will first be directed to the outdated property page, where no data is displayed because of the automatically selected date range and the property’s inactive status.

    Login to Google Analytics
  • Step 2: Select the GA4 Property

Click “All Web Site Data” to find your GA4 property.

  • Step 3: View Reports

After you click “All Web Site Data” you will see your old “UA” property and the new “GA4” property. Select the – GA4 property to view new data.
