Your industry and company culture play a role. Are you in a creative field where clients expect you to show personal flair? Or do you typically wear a uniform? As a rule of thumb, we advise people getting new headshots to wear whatever they would to meet a new client. Like that first face-to-face meeting, a headshot makes a big first impression.
