CultureEmployee Spotlight: Leah Osoba

February 5, 2019

Meet Our Content Manager

Leah Osoba, a copywriter and project manager (thus, content manager) at Cassandra Bryan Design, has been with the team since 2016.

Although Leah wears several hats at Cassandra Bryan Design, she is still known for efficiency and attention-to-detail. Typically Leah is cool, calm and collected while her dog, Ramón, is the complete opposite and often described as “four pounds of terror.” Needless to say, he keeps her on her toes throughout each of his weekly visits.

We invite you to get to know Leah through a quick interview!

An Interview with Leah

Tell us what you like to do in your spare time.

I enjoy the simple things: reading a good book, walking Ramón in College Hill Park, doing small updates on my home, and most of all, spending time with family.

What are you passionate about?

I love to travel, not so much to relax, but to see and do as much as I can in each place I visit. When I spent two weeks backpacking in Europe, I took the opportunity to go somewhere new almost every day. My style of travel is not for everyone, but as a result of it, I have been able to learn and experience so much!

Tell us something fun about your past.

I got my first “real” job at 16 and worked in restaurants from then through college. My first “professional” job after college was as a reporter for a newspaper. Both firsts taught me so much, including how to interact effectively with just about anyone. Now my friends and coworkers say that I could find anything out about anyone, which has proved to be true quite a few times!

Finish this sentence: “People would be surprised to know that I…”

  • …have flown in sailplanes (aircraft without engines) and was able to ride in a hot air balloon, which was by far one of my favorite experiences!
  • …was in a law program in high school and aspired to be an attorney. That was until I started working on the student newspaper, which gave me the journalism bug!
  • …have ancestors from Czechoslovakia.
