Exploration Place, The Sedgwick County Science and Discovery Center, is Kansas’ premier science center that features permanent exhibits, special exhibits, live science shows, shows in The Dome, special events and more. Website Design and Development
In search of a new website solution that included improved functionality and was easier to update in-house, Exploration Place selected Cassandra Bryan Design to create a new, fully responsive website with an integrated WordPress Content Management System (CMS).
The new calendar dynamically displays special exhibits, live science shows, shows in The Dome and special events by the date selected. Exhibit, show and event pages now feature images, videos, customized icons, sponsor logos, testimonials, quick links to buy tickets or become a member and more.
We created an Educational Resources blog platform to share video activities and other resources, as well as a separate Newsroom blog platform to share news articles, press releases and more. The new website features improved tables for ticket and membership information. Other enhancements include employment and volunteer forms, as well as various dynamic forms integrated throughout.
