Sarah Poinsett, our senior web designer at Cassandra Bryan Design, has been with the team since 2012, but she’s actually known Cassie since childhood!

The perfect combination of technical and creative, we can always count on Sarah to give 150 percent to every project… as well as make us laugh with her unique point of view and quirky sense of humor.

Tell us something fun you like to do in your spare time.

When I’m not pushing pixels around, I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, tasting wine and listening to live music.

What’s a hobby you’re passionate about?

Even though I design websites all day, I find myself learning as much as I can about UX/UI. It may not be your typical hobby or activity but improving and developing new skills is my passion. The industry changes so quickly, it’s exciting to see what’s next!

What’s a funny childhood memory?

I went to the Bahamas in fifth grade for a family vacation. I begged my mom to get my hair braided while I followed her around and she carried her bucket of casino coins. I finally convinced her, but she only had enough coins for half my head to be braided. I looked ridiculous but I rocked that half-do so hard for as long as I could when I returned. Now I’m not sure what’s funnier, the bucket of casino coins or the half braided do.

…started out as a ceramics major in college. I grew up taking sculpture lessons and all the pottery electives throughout school. When I have time, I like to get my hands dirty taking a random class through CityArts.
