Congratulations, you now have a business email @yourdomain.com. You should have received an email from Cassandra Bryan Design with your email address and temporary password.
How do I get started using my email?
The first time you access your email, you must use the webmail application. This application is always online for you to use from any computer. Your webmail address is always www.yourdomina.com/webmail. So for example, my site is www.cassandrabryan.com so my webmail address is www.cassandrabryan.com/webmail. This is what you type into the main address bar on your web browser.
1. Visit your webmail address to login (www.yourdomain.com/webmail)
2. Type in your username which is your full email address (ie: yourname@yourdomain.com)
3. Type in your password
Ta Da! Now you are on the login page of your webmail. This is where you may:
- Access your mailbox
You may access your mailbox using one of three “themes”, Horde, SquirrelMail or Roundcube. They all do the same thing, they are just different “looks” and we like to have three options just to confuse you
j/k. - Change your password
- Forward all your emails to another email address
- Set up Auto Responders if you are on vacation
- Configure Mail Client
(This is where you will set up your settings for your mail to be delivered to directly to your PC or Mac using Exchange, Mac Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc…. You can also use these settings to set up your email to be delivered on your mobile device, such as your iPhone or Blackberry)
